I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Spiritual Care Practitioner with extensive experience supporting individuals, parents, couples, and families navigating trauma, grief, anger, violence, and life-altering events. My clinical work is informed by years of service in teaching, work in prison chaplaincy, community work and Victim Services, where I have witnessed firsthand courage, resilience, and capacity for healing that emerge even in the most difficult circumstances.
I practice from a trauma-informed, client-centered, and integrative approach grounded in current research. I draw on evidence-based psychotherapy to support healing from PTSD, complex trauma, relational wounds, and chronic stress. I understand symptoms not as pathology, but as adaptive responses to overwhelming experiences, and I work collaboratively to help clients reconnect with their inner strengths and the resources that support recovery.
Much of my work is shaped by bearing witness to human suffering and to the strength that often grows from it. I believe pain, while never chosen, can become a source of insight, resilience, and renewed purpose when held with care. In therapy, we explore how suffering has shaped your story, what it has taken from you, and what it may be teaching you about courage, connection, and your capacity to heal. We cannot walk into tomorrow with one foot still in yesterday. We do not fix the past; we learn its language and carry its lessons forward. Then, with both feet finally free, we journey together toward the future that waits to be built.
My work with youth, parents, couples, and those preparing for marriage draws on respect, dignity, and relational awareness. Parents and caregivers are invited to reflect on children’s emotional worlds, while couples and families explore cultural, relational, and personal strengths that shape connection and communication. Sessions attend to the resilience already present and how it interacts with past experiences of separation, stress, or trauma.
I strive to create a space where you can feel safe, be heard, be seen, and draw on your own strengths to move toward healing, growth, and renewed hope.
