We are not an emergency or crisis service.

Information on this website is for general information only.
It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or a substitute for professional care.
Booking and services (JaneApp)
Appointments are booked through JaneApp. Virtual sessions are also provided through JaneApp.
By booking, you agree to provide accurate information and follow booking instructions.
Free 15-minute consultation
We offer a free 15-minute consultation. It may be by phone or video (either). This consult is for fit and next steps and is not a full therapy session.
Fees and payment timing
Unless we agree otherwise in writing:
• Session fees are due at the end of the session.
• Clients are expected to maintain a valid credit card on file (if required by the booking/payment setup).
Insurance receipts and claims
We can provide receipts when appropriate.
If we submit insurance claims on your behalf (where available), you are still responsible for payment if the insurer does not pay or denies coverage.
Coverage depends on your insurance plan.
Cancellation / rescheduling policy (48 hours)
We require at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee.
Virtual sessions: technology and backup plan
Virtual sessions occur through JaneApp.
If video fails or is unstable, we may switch to phone to complete the session. You are responsible for having a private space, reliable internet, and a working device for video/phone sessions.
Communication and email safety
If you contact us through the website contact form, we receive your message so we can reply.
Email is not always fully secure for sensitive clinical details.
Please avoid including detailed personal health information in email unless we confirm a secure method.
Privacy
Our collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Administrative services, documentation, and third-party requests
Requests for letters, forms, reports, documentation for insurers, or documentation for legal matters may:
• Require additional time, and
• Involve additional administrative fees.
We will confirm fees and timelines before starting any administrative work.
Taxes (GST/HST) — overview
As of June 20, 2024, certain psychotherapy and counselling therapy services provided by eligible practitioners are GST/HST-exempt in Canada (outside Quebec).
Clients under 18
We may accept clients under 18 on a case-by-case basis.
Consent and decision-making rules for minors can vary depending on capacity and Ontario requirements.
Acceptable use of this website
You agree not to misuse this website, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the most recent version.
What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

You may display and copy, download or print portions of the material from the different areas of the Service only for your own non-commercial use. Any other use is strictly prohibited and may violate copyright, trademark and other laws. These Terms do not grant you a license to use any trademark of Soulful Oasis Wellness or its affiliates. You further agree not to use, change or delete any proprietary notices from materials downloaded from the Service.

The Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Soulful Oasis Wellness.

Termination

Soulful Oasis Wellness , its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, economic loss, loss or damage to electronic media or data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of the Service; (ii) your inability to access or use the Service; (iii) any conduct or content of any third-party on or related to the Service; (iiv) any content obtained from or through the Service; and (v) the unauthorized access to, use of or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other claim in law, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

Any purportedly applicable warranties, terms and conditions are excluded, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance, except as provided for under the laws of any province in Canada. Soulful Oasis Wellness its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.
If you breach any of these Terms and Soulful Oasis Wellness chooses not to immediately act, or chooses not to act at all, Soulful Oasis Wellness will still be entitled to all rights and remedies at any later date, or in any other situation, where you breach these Terms. Soulful Oasis Wellness does not waive any of its rights. Soulful Oasis Wellness shall not be responsible for any purported breach of these Terms caused by circumstances beyond its control. A person who is not a party to these Terms shall have no rights of enforcement.
You may not assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer any of your rights under these Terms.
Exclusions
As set out, above, some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, so the limitations above may not apply to you. Provincial laws of Canada may apply to certain products and service provided.
