Yashmeen Nakhuda

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Spiritual Care Practitioner with extensive experience supporting individuals, parents, couples, and families as they navigate trauma, grief, stress, life transitions, and systemic challenges. My work is informed by years of clinical/community involvement, volunteer experience, and engagement with diverse populations, where I have witnessed firsthand the courage, resilience, and capacity for growth that emerge even in the most difficult circumstances. Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, whether you’re carrying trauma, grief, anxiety, or navigating difficult life transitions. You don’t have to go through it alone.

I offer a warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed space where you can feel safe, understood, and free from judgment. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and meet you where you are. My approach is collaborative, inclusive, and grounded in person-centered therapy, somatic (body-based) awareness, narrative work, mindfulness, and spiritually integrated care when it aligns with your values and preferences. I view emotional struggles not as something “wrong” with you, but as meaningful responses to difficult experiences.

Together, we explore your story with curiosity and care, helping you reconnect with your strengths, build tools for emotional regulation, and move toward greater clarity, balance, and resilience. Therapy is a partnership where your lived experience and goals guide the process. My intention is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you explore meaningful change at your own pace.
