As a Turkish-Canadian Muslim immigrant woman, theologian, educator, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and spiritual health practitioner, I bring both lived experience and clinical training into my work. My perspective is uniquely shaped by years of service in correctional centre chaplaincy and community work, where I have witnessed the profound resilience that emerges even in the most difficult circumstances.

My approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I offer a trauma-informed space where we collaboratively explore emotional regulation and resilience at a pace that feels safe for you. For those who desire it, I also provide spiritually integrated care, where faith and existential questions can be explored as part of your healing journey.
In our sessions, we address challenges related to anxiety, stress, grief, and trauma, as well as identity transitions, migration, and relational dynamics. Healing, for me, is not about becoming someone new; it is about restoring coherence and reconnecting with the dignity and resilience that are already within you.
